Basic authentication for REST requests
After adding a basic authorization to the request, the authorization tab allows you to edit the settings.
Note: Currently, authentication needs to be set up individually for each request.
Authentication settings
Username:
The username to use for authentication.
Password:
The password to use for authentication.
Domain:
Domain is optional for basic authentication.
Pre-emptive auth:
This setting defines authentication behaviour.
Use global preference
Uses settings defined in the global preferences HTTP Settings.
Authenticate pre-emptively
For this request only. Do not wait for authentication challenge to send the credentials.
